Great if you have the money By O. Singh
It's the best product you can get if you want a fast absorbing/great tasting protein drink. Mixing this with water produces the best taste for the combo that I've tried thus far. To all the people complaining about the price, if you have a disposable income and want fast results, this is for you, to all the others that complain about the price, go for gold standard, it's cheaper but absorbs slower and is lesser in quality. Overall, outstanding product.

Top tier whey product By Mr. Smarty
When it comes to whey protein, you definitely get what you pay for. Cheaper whey, such as ON's Gold line, contains mostly whey concentrates which are less readily absorbed. Prior to this I only used AST VP2 which is a pure whey isolate. As soon as Platinum Hydrowhey came out I grabbed a tub and gave it a try. I was never impressed with ON's flavors. They have the largest variety, but they always had a chemical aroma which spoiled the taste. Their chocolates, however, were always pretty good. I have been using this for a few weeks now and the flavor is excellent. This is the first whey I have used where I can't tell the difference when mixed with water or skim milk. That is a huge bonus since a cup of milk adds at least 80 calories that I don't need. Here is an added bonus - this stuff does not smell bad if you leave it in your shaker bottle. All other whey I have used reeks after a few hours out. ON has a pretty good reputation and so I trust the quality of their protein. This is my new whey supplement from now on.

Great product @ a terrible price. By Reign In Blood
Having used Optimum Nutrition for many years now, I was quite intrigued when I got 5 or 6 samples of these in a box of protein I had just receieved. Trying the Chocolate immediatly I was quite impressed. The same great taste that Optimum is known for remained intact in their newer protein. With 6 more grams of protein, fewer carbs and fat, and more BCAAS per scoop I was sold on it after downing that first shake.
That is until I hopped online and saw the price. At 50+ dollars for a 3.5lb bottle, I was disgusted at the price. For aproximately 10-15 dollars more you're getting 1.5lbs less than of 100% Gold Standard/Natural. Being that I can get 10lbs of Gold Standard easily for around 80 dollars, there's no way I'm going to spend 100+ for 7lbs.
This product is great if you're willing to pay the difference, but getting less while paying more for a slight increase in protein and other slight changes... just isn't worth it. I'll stick to Gold Standard/Natural until this comes down in price.
